RECENT SOFA ACQUISITIONS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS ON LOAN: The SOFA Board of Directors recently approved the purchase of a 10' x 15' collapsible canopy, one - 6 ft.collapsible table, and 1 rather large cooler.  These items were purchased in the hope that they be used by club members attending club functions as well as hammer-ins and conferences sponsored by other clubs throughout Ohio and the mid-west.  There is also a banner with the SOFA logo which can be proudly displayed on the side of the canopy.  These items will help establish a gathering place for SOFA members and others in attendance at conferences and hammer-ins by providing an area to meet and greet.  Any member/members planning a club function or attending one of the many hammer-ins is welcome to use any or all of these items.  Contact one of the board members with your request.  Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.

SOFA HAS RESUMED COAL SALES; however, we are limiting sales to 100 pounds per member (while the supply lasts) at a cost of $10 per 50 pound container.  This limit will be in effect until we replenish our coal supply. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

SOFA/Zeller Fire Pots
The SOFA/Zeller fire pots are available for sale through Bob Cruikshank (937) 323-1300. We have recently transferred the molds to Bob and he has agreed to assume responsibility for casting the three designs. The 3 styles available include the common 8-1/2" x 10" rectangle, a 8-1/2" x 14" rectangle for knife makers, and a 6" round fire pot. Bob Zeller (one of the SOFA founders) developed these fire pots to supply the blacksmithing community with a quality, heavy-duty product. At the time of his passing, the patterns and molds were given to the club so that production of these would continue.
